2026年度 台湾政治学会研究大会 派遣報告者募集のお知らせ

日本選挙学会は、2026年度から台湾政治学会との相互交流を開始しました。その一環として、2026年11月に開催される台湾政治学会年次研究大会に対して日本選挙学会から派遣する報告者を、以下の通り募集します。会員各位の積極的な応募をお待ちしています。

派遣先：2026年台湾政治学会年次研究大会
(2026 Taiwanese Political Science Association Annual Conference)

開催日時：2026年11月14日（土）・15日（日）

開催場所：国立中山大学（高雄市）(National Sun Yat-sen University, Kaohsiung)

派遣人数：最大2名

派遣内容：

  1. 派遣報告者は、当該研究大会国際パネル（言語：英語）において研究報告を行います。また、討論・司会をお願いする可能性があります。
  2. 台湾政治学会のご厚意により、大会参加費および懇親会費が免除され、最大３泊分（11月13日・14日・15日）の宿泊先が無償で提供されます。
  3. 日本選挙学会から、日本―台湾間の航空券およびその他の交通費（公共交通機関に限る）の実費額（1人あたり上限10万円）を補助します。 ただし、目的地までは、最も経済的な通常の経路及び交通機関を利用することとします。

応募条件：

  1. 応募時点で2026年度までの会費を納入済の日本選挙学会員であること。
  2. 日本国内に銀行口座を保持していること（日本選挙学会からの補助は銀行振込で行います）。
  3. 派遣先大会にて英語で研究発表が可能なこと。派遣が決定した場合、10月下旬までに報告論文もしくは報告パワーポイントを用意する必要があります。
  4. 派遣先大会にて英語で討論もしくは司会を務める準備があること。派遣が決定した場合、台湾政治学会側と個別に調整を行った上で、討論・司会を担当することになれば、対象の報告論文が11月上旬までに共有されます。

  4. 応募時点で2026年度での会費納入済みであることの確認
  5. 本人名義で日本の銀行口座を保持していることの確認
  6. 報告タイトル（英語）
  7. 報告概要（英語：200-300 words程度）
  8. 研究関心・専門分野（英語：討論・司会の調整に活用します）

応募〆切：2026年9月12日（土）

選考：応募〆切後、日本選挙学会国際交流委員会が派遣候補者の選考を行い、理事会にて報告者を最終決定します。

派遣決定後の手続き：

  1. 派遣決定後、台湾政治学会の担当者に派遣報告者の連絡先を共有します。宿泊先確保に必要な情報の提供、報告論文の提出、および討論・司会対象論文の調整については報告者が各自で行ってください。
  2. 航空券代およびその他の渡航交通費については、一度派遣報告者個人が立て替えることになります。派遣終了後に、指定様式に従って国際交流委員会まで出金依頼を行ってください。航空券については搭乗証明（航空券の半券画像もしくは電子航空券のスクリーンショット）および領収書のコピー、その他の交通費については利用区間の申告が必要になります。必要書類の受け取りが確認でき次第、指定の口座に依頼された額を振り込みます。

留意事項：今年度、同じく台湾政治学会への派遣報告者を募集している日本政治学会と応募状況を共有することがあります。

Call for JAES Delegates to attend the 2026 Taiwanese Political Science Association Annual Conference

In 2026, Japanese Association of Electoral Studies (JAES) signed an agreement with Taiwanese Political Science Association (TPSA) to encourage mutual intellectual exchange between JAES and TPSA. As a part of this agreement, we invite applications for up to two JAES delegates to attend the 2026 TPSA annual conference this November. We encourage all JAES members to apply.

Name of Conference:2026 Taiwanese Political Science Association Annual Conference

Date of Conference:November 14 (Saturday) and 15 (Sunday), 2026

Location of Conference:National Sun Yat-sen University (Kaohsiung, Taiwan)

Number of Delegates:Maximum of two people

Duties and Benefits for Delegates:

  1. Delegates are expected to present original research in English on one of the international panels at the conference. Delegates may also be asked to serve as a moderator/discussant in an English session at the conference.
  2. Through the courtesy of TPSA, conference participation fee, reception fee, as well as conference accommodation for up to three nights (November 13, 14, and 15) will be provided for free.
  3. JAES will reimburse up to 100,000 yen (per person) to cover fees for air tickets between Japan and Taiwan as well as other public transportation fees during the conference. One shall use the most economical ordinary route and means of transportation to the destination.

Eligibility:

  1. Be a current JAES member and have paid association fees up to FY2026 by the time of application.
  2. Having a bank account in one’s own name at a financial institution in Japan.
  3. Be able to present original research in English in the conference one attends as a JAES delegate. Selected delegates have to prepare conference papers (or presentation slides) by the end of October 2026.
  4. Be available to serve as a moderator or discussant in an English session at the conference one attends as a JAES delegate. TPSA may individually coordinate with selected delegates and if determined to serve as a moderator/discussant, materials to discuss/moderate will be provided by early November.

  4. Confirmation of being a JAES member who completed paying association fees up to FY2026
  5. Confirmation of holding a bank account in a financial institution in Japan
  6. Presentation Title (in English)
  7. Presentation Abstract (in English, 200-300 words)
  8. Research interest/subfield (in English, to be used to coordinate moderator/discussant roles)

Application Deadline:23:59, September 12 (Saturday), 2026

Selection:After the application deadline, JAES International Exchange Committee will select the final candidates of delegates and JAES boards will make a final decision.

Instructions for Selected Delegates:

  1. After the selection, delegates’ contact addresses will be shared with TPSA and delegates are expected to communicate with TPSA individually in providing information to secure accommodation, submitting conference paper/slides, and coordinating the potential roles as moderators/discussants.
  2. Selected delegates need to tentatively pay for their air tickets and public transportation fees. After returning from the conference, JAES will reimburse the fees through bank transfer upon submission of receipts and boarding certificates (scanned boarding pass stubs or screenshot of electronic boarding pass is sufficient) using a designated form.

Note:We may share the application information with the Japanese Political Science Association, which is also recruiting delegates to attend the TPSA this year.
